Portland’s very first Somali Poetry Hour is happening this Saturday, September 29th at 2pm on the corner of Fox St. and Anderson St.
The Poetry hour will be followed by a community BBQ at Fox Field, music and a soccer game at Kennedy Park. What a wonderful way to celebrate the last weekend in September!
(Tim Clorius’s CLOUDS, Meeting Place East Bayside’s Good Fences for Good Neighbors project at Maine Muslim Community Center, corner Fox & Anderson)
The event is hosted by the Maine Muslim Community Center, Art At Work/City of Portland and East Bayside Neighborhood Association.
This event is free but please RSVP: 207 874-8681 or artatwork@portlandmaine.gov and all poetry will be translated from Somali and Arabic.
See you Saturday the 29th at 2pm!

I do agree with all of the ideas you have introduced in your post. They’re very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies. May just you please lengthen them a little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
