On October 4, you have the chance to hear from leaders in the field of groundwater policy. To complement all of the water talk, there will be free food! The summit will feature lectures and panel discussions on a variety of topics including: a discussion of groundwater hydrology in Maine, an overview and update on Vermont’s public trust law and their protection of groundwater, as well as a current groundwater policy analysis and trade implications regarding large scale water extraction.

    No, the water I drink, bathe in and cook with does not come from the ground. It comes from Sebago Lake.
