I attended the District 2 meeting and I was disappointed that mayor-elect Brennan chose not to come. He received a mandate and it would have been better for him to hear the concerns of average Portland residents first hand. Councilor Marshall was led the meeting and I was impressed by his depth of knowledge. Mayor Mavodones was in attendance but said almost nothing.
I want the city to address the lack of downtown trash collection facilities and return the trash barrels to the dense, urban neighborhoods.
